At Materion Corporation, I led a comprehensive brand refresh that brought the company’s identity into the modern era. This included designing a sleek, updated logo, introducing a vibrant new color palette, and developing cohesive messaging that resonated across all channels. The refreshed brand was seamlessly integrated into every facet of external communications—from social media and product marketing to customer and investor relations—ensuring a unified, contemporary presence that reflected the company’s innovation and leadership in advanced materials.
I expanded the Materion brand to showcase the company as an employer of choice, creating engaging content about working at Materion, including a compelling video that highlighted employee experiences and company culture. Shooting took place within four different factories and was translated into multiple languages.
We Make Materion Safe: An employee campaign featured images and quotes from employees on the importance of safety. Featured above is one of Materion's engineers.
The campaign decreased the number of safety incidents, resulting in a remarkable zero-incidents at the largewwwst factory during the summertime, when safety is historically more difficult.
At Materion, I helped amplify the company’s recognition as a Climate Leader by USA Today, highlighting our sustainability commitment. This achievement generated over 37 news hits valued at $4.3 million, showcasing Materion’s leadership in advancing sustainable practices. Through strategic communications, I ensured this milestone resonated with internal and external audiences.
