In 2019, I saw a YouTube video of someone flying over water in Miami, and I decided to figure out what it was and how I could learn to fly over Lake Erie. The product was invented by Lift Foils in Puerto Rico, and I became one of the first sales in the world. From that moment on, we formed a marketing partnership.
As one of the first 1,000 efoil owners worldwide, I launched a marketing business and became an affiliate of Lift Foils, the Puerto Rican innovators behind this groundbreaking water sport. Driven by a passion for innovation and adventure, I set out to introduce efoiling to the Midwest and the Great Lakes, bringing the thrill of flying over water to a whole new audience.
Efoiling is a revolutionary water sport that combines surfing and flying. Using an electric hydrofoil board, riders glide above the water, powered by a quiet motor and controlled by a handheld remote. It offers a unique, exhilarating experience that feels like flying over the waves, making it accessible to thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike.
Creating my efoiling business taught me the value of innovation, adaptability, and perseverance. Participating in boat shows allowed me to introduce this new sport to a wider audience, build excitement, and establish key relationships in the industry.
